This original oil painting was painted from a photograph taken one May afternoon at Sherando Lake near Lyndhurst, VA. Sherando Lake is part of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest and is a popular spot for swimming, camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and fishing.
